Floral paintings of favorite garden flowers and the insects and pollinators that visit them.

Contemporary Botanical Paintings

Meet the Artist

I create floral paintings of the flowers I grow, capturing them in various stages of their lifecycles, and a variety of buzzing, fluttering insects and pollinators.

The artist holds an oil painting of blooming orange and maroon day lilies surrounded by butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees.

A Unique Process

Spending time with my subjects by observing and working from life as much as possible helps me to create my botanical worlds.

  • Exhibitions, Events & News

Art was never meant to be viewed on a tiny screen! I participate in several shows each year. See my work in person at various galleries and events in Pennsylvania, along the east coast, and in nationwide group exhibitions.

Looking for my skull and bone art?

My passion project for the past 18 years has been drawing, painting, and documenting the animal skulls in my collection. I’m endlessly fascinated by these beautiful structures. In 2025, I’ll be introducing some new content, tutorials, and blog posts with tips for drawing and painting, as well as my unique natural bone palette.
